We visited for the afternoon tea, having been given a voucher. £33.75 each I believe but our voucher covered it entirely. My wife is gluten intolerant so had forewarned them but it still took 45 mins for our food to appear, whilst later arrivals had already been served. Not copious quantities but sufficient. The berry accompaniment for the gluten free food was literally still frozen. Service was polite but a little less than efficient. Surprised that the food was supposed to all fit on a small table - elsewhere I've had side tables. No hot water for the tea. Atmosphere ok but the background music was not to my taste. We've eaten better food, served in better surroundings with more efficient service than this - albeit the price was lower at the Ivy. Ok if you're looking for just tea time eats but not as a "destination experience " like the Ritz, Dorchester etc

Went for afternoon tea and the place is amazing for it! The atmosphere is delightful, the staff were pleasant, although communication was a little lacking. We ended up repeating our order multiple times, waiting for things to arrive, only to be needing to ask again. But all in all the afternoon tea selection was a good amount and filling, and also delicious! We definitely enjoyed ourselves.

A spot of lunch at The Ivy Clifton Brasserie in Bristol was an absolute treat. In an attempt to summarise the style and character of The Ivy, the best thing to do is pay reference to their website from which the following extract is taken; “The Ivy Grills and Brasseries offer extensive all-day menus featuring the best of modern British dishes in a relaxed dining atmosphere. Each Grill and Brasserie is sophisticated yet approachable, casual yet polished and can be found in carefully selected locations both in London and beyond.” After considering how best to describe our ‘Ivy’ experience I quickly realised the words from the website was sufficient. Modern dishes, relaxed, sophisticated, casual yet polished is a perfect description of this place. The staff provide a first class and professional service all set within this classy and rather British environment. Beautifully presented drinks and the food was just perfection of which I strongly recommend the crispy duck salad as a main course. What a great place to spend lunch and feel part of something quite special. If you find yourself in Clifton, this place is a must but you must book well in advance.

Absolutely wonderful vegan tea 💚 with brilliant service too. I'll be honest I was surprised at how delicious the high tea was as I've tasted vegan cream teas before and they've been so so...but this vegan cream tea was a delight!! Beautifully crafted pistachio battenburg, an amazing chocolate coconut truffle and everything was fresh and truly scrumptious 💚 most of all as a single person and vegan I was treated so well and not rushed or turned away which I'm afraid has happened at other places. Loved it.

Attended for the first time with family and my 18 month old. Had the set menu. Starter was lovely. Really enjoyed the chicken skewers. Main also was good. Had the ragu. Dessert was nice (frozen berries) but it was meant to come with a hot white chocolate sauce and it didn’t have this so it was basically a bowl of frozen berries and sorbet and so it was very cold! I like berries and so didn’t bother me much but for the price you pay you should have what is listed on the menu! It tasted great even without the hot sauce. My main issue is that the staff were miserable!!!! I’ve never been somewhere where the waiter didn’t even say hello.they didn’t offer a children’s menu. When My baby dropped a spoon and I appologised and asked for another I got a nod. It was really strange! They were otherwise attentive. But zero communication 😂 maybe it was just the waiter we had. But overall. A lovely evening. The actual building itself is stunning!

Have been a few times before and the food & service were 5 star - on this occasion though my husband and I only came for some drinks. Sat at the bar and got some excellent recommendations from Renée and Lauren who delivered 10/10 cocktails and equally excellent service. Will come again!

Lovely lunch menu with a good selection to choose from. The food was beautifully presented. I had phoned ahead and paid £32 for a celebration chocolate cake to be brought to the table at the end of the meal as a surprise. I checked on arrival and yes it was all on the booking but the waitress came to our table and announced what type of cake we wanted and when should she bring it to us which spoilt the surprise. Anyway the cake was lovely and we laughed it off and then we were charged again for the cake when the bill arrived. I asked for a refund and was eventually given it but the staff didn’t apologise and we were meant to feel like we were causing trouble.

Booked for a late evening dinner on Valentine’s Day. Live violinist was a nice touch. Service was pretty quick for a full house evening. Served by Daniel R who was absolutely brilliant, couldn’t have been more helpful. Food was lovely however the ribeye steak was a little fatty. Would order the filet instead next time.

Staff were great, however my steak was over cooked and the burger was dry. The worst part was the interior noise level. The music was more like a club night and loud not low fine dining music, which then increased the noise from the tables conversations, which on a table of 6 meant we couldn’t hear each other, has put us of going again. Shane as we have been there numerous times. They have also shortened the bar, which is fine but they had customers sat in bar chairs all night which meant you couldn’t get to bar while waiting, they need to move them on as it ruins it for others.

Went for Sunday lunch. Was so disappointed for an established restaurant. Plate was full full of frozen roast potatoes, frozen yorkshires, frozen french beans and watery swede. Meat was appalling. Two of us had chicken. It was like a de boned leg deep fried and the beef was two inches per slice and no flavour. Obviously not from a beef joint. Need to up their game at £30 for the beef and £25 the chicken. Absolutely a disaster. So many good establishments around at the moment delivering home cooked roasts. Do not visit
